Scarlet Honeyeaters
These bright delicate birds are seen in flowering
trees and shrubs in eastern Australia.
With their long curved bills they seek out insects and nectar, pollinating as they go with pollen dabbed on their forehead. They inhabit forests, woodland and scrublands.
