Superb Parrots

The Superb Parrot is a long tailed green parrot that lives in inland NSW. The male is bright green with a bright yellow face and a band of red across his upper chest and the female has a plain green head. Relying on riverside forests for nesting holes, it’s population is declining with the destruction of River Red Gums.
