Red-winged Parrots
A brilliant green parrot with a dark upper back and bright scarlet wing patches, the female’s wing patch being the smaller. These parrots are a little smaller than the King Parrot but the are located over a wider area spreading further, from upper Western Australia to northern New South Wales. They are nomadic and feed in the trees on fruits, seeds, nectar and insects,
