Sometimes called the Fairy Penguin, being the smallest of all Penguins. They are found in inshore waters around the southern mainland coast and islands. There are colonies in Sydney Harbour and they are known as the tourist attraction at the ‘Penguin Parade’ on Phillip Island, Victoria as they come ashore at night to return to their nests.
