Sooty Owl 1

A very dark Barn Owl it is extremely secretive and is seldom seen. It’s large powerful legs and feet allow it to take large prey. They live and roost in high hollow caves in wet eucalypt forests of coastal ranges and steep heavily vegetated gullies in eastern Australia.
