Cockatiel Pair

A small slender cockatoo common throughout mainland Australia the Cockatiel is strongly nomadic, moving around in response to the availability of food and water. They feed on a variety of grass seeds, nuts, berries and grain either on the ground or in trees in small to large numbers. Roosting in trees near water they travel from these areas in flocks to feeding grounds.
