Major Mitchell's Cockatoos

A beautiful pink cockatoo with a crimson and yellow crest, it inhabits inland areas of Australia in sparsely timbered grasslands, open scrublands and drier farmlands never far from water. As they nest in tree hollows, their numbers are reduced with landclearing.
