Red-backed Wrens 2

This is the smallest fairy wren and is found in low foliage and grasses along watercourses and forest margins in tropical and subtropical areas from north Western Australia to near Newcastle in New South Wales. They may be seen in pairs or small groups with a coloured male and many brown birds, young females and males, uncoloured prior to breeding age.
