Wombat 2

Wombat 2

The wombat is closely related to the koala, but lives on the ground using its strong legs and claws to dig extensive burrows. It spends the daytime in a burrow and grazes on roots and grasses at night. Being a marsupial it matures one baby at a time in its backward facing pouch for about 6 months and at heel for another 11 months. These determined and strong animals have been called “the bulldozers of the bush.”Australia
