Rainbow Lorikeets

These small brightly coloured parrots feed almost exclusively on nectar using their brush-tipped tongues, supplemented with fruit, seeds and insects. They are bold, noisy and very gregarious, constantly chattering or squeaking. Rainbow Lorikeets are common on the east coast of Australia.
