Golden Whistler


This bright small bird forages in rainforests, eucalypt forests and bushy areas from northern Queensland around to the south of Western Australia and Tasmania. The male is golden with the female grey, and both are known for their ringing, whistled calls in spring, and build a cup shaped nest held together with cobwebs in the shelter of a shrub to tree.
